THIS IS HOW THE VELVET BECAME A FASHION TREND
Hit the Road Jacques gave us one of the basics of the season AW16: the velvet. Before meeting the Hit the Road Jacques fall winter 2016 collection, I used to imagine the word velvet as the 6 meters tall, red curtains at my grandmas house. BUT thanks to HTRJ this old fabric has evolved to a new completely different shape. I learned that this tissue, in the right quantities, at the right place and with the right colors, can create a modern, urban and wearable collection.
Our velvet selection for this season has 2 jumpers, a must have for those cold days, when the only thing you want is get warm: the black and grey with a zipper and one of the top sellers of Facoco, the multicolor jumper, a riskier beautiful option.
The two tops are perfect example of the new velvet evolution, one for those cold days the other one, the crop top, one of the most unique pieces of the collection.
And the skirts, high waisted, 100% velvet with a frontal zipper. Perfect.
Each one of these unique products are designed by Hit the Road Jacques in Paris, with high quality fabrics, made in France and Portugal.
